Your Hair Isn't Failing to Grow. It's Breaking.

Hair grows about half an inch a month — yours included. So if it has been stuck at the same length for years, growth isn't the problem. What happens on the way down is.

Dry, brittle strands snap. Ends split, and the split travels up the shaft. You lose length at the bottom as fast as you gain it at the root, and it feels like your hair simply stopped.

Zovela is cold-pressed castor oil — one ingredient, roughly 90% ricinoleic acid, thick enough to coat the strand and stay put overnight. It softens brittle hair, smooths the cuticle, and conditions a dry scalp.

It won't make your hair grow faster. Nothing will. It helps you keep what already grows.

  • Cold-Pressed

Pressed without heat, so the fatty acids that do the conditioning survive the process. Cheap castor oil is heat-refined and stripped.

  • One Ingredient

100% pure Ricinus Communis (castor) oil. That is the entire label. No silicones faking shine, no fragrance, no cheap carrier oil bulking it out.

  • Made & Shipped In The USA

Bottled in New Jersey, not shipped eight weeks from overseas. In your hands in 3-7 days — because a routine you start next month is a routine you never start.

  • The Protocol Included

Dose, technique, frequency, and what to expect at week 2 versus week 12. Most people quit castor oil because nobody ever told them how to use it.

Why Zovela

Most castor oil is sold as a raw ingredient, shipped from overseas, and left on your doorstep with no instructions. Here is the difference.

  Typical Castor Oil

Cold-pressed, never heat-refined

Single ingredient — no fillers or carrier oils

Full 4 fl oz — a real treatment size, not a lash bottle

Made in the USA, ships in 3-7 days

Step-by-step 12-week protocol included

60-day guarantee, opened bottles included

The technique matters more than the bottle. This is the part nobody tells you.

  • 1. Warm It

Four or five drops in your palm, rubbed between your hands for ten seconds. Castor oil is thick by design — warming it is what makes it spreadable. Use less than feels right. You can always add more.

  • 2. Ends First, Scalp Second

Work it through your mid-lengths and ends, where the breakage actually is. Then massage what's left into your scalp for a minute. Most people do this backwards, load up the roots, and end up with greasy hair and dry ends.

  • 3. Sleep On It

Thirty minutes minimum, overnight for more. Use a pillowcase you don't care about. Shampoo out in the morning — expect to need two passes. Two to three nights a week, every week, for twelve weeks.

Questions, Answered Honestly

How long before I see a difference?

Be honest with yourself about the timeline. This is not a two-week product. Most people notice softer hair and less breakage in the shower within 2-3 weeks. Visible length retention takes around 12 weeks, because that is how long it takes for hair you have stopped breaking to actually show up. That is why the protocol runs a full three months and why we back it for 60 days.

Will it make my hair greasy or weigh it down?

Not if you use less than you think you need. Four or five drops covers most people's mid-lengths and ends. It is an overnight treatment you rinse out, not a leave-in. If your hair feels heavy the next day, you either used too much or only shampooed once.

Is it safe on color-treated, relaxed, or keratin-treated hair?

Yes. It is a single plant oil — no sulfates, no alcohol, no fragrance, nothing that strips color or disturbs a chemical service. If you have just had a treatment, wait 48 hours before your first application. As with any new product, patch test first.

What does it smell like?

Faintly nutty, and it fades within minutes of application. There is no added fragrance because there is nothing added at all — the ingredient list is one line long.

What's actually in the bottle, and where does it come from?

One ingredient: 100% pure Ricinus Communis (castor) oil, cold-pressed. Vegan, sulfate free, and bottled in a BPA-free bottle in New Jersey. For external use only — do not ingest, avoid contact with eyes, and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Send it back within 60 days — opened, half-used, whatever — and we will refund you. If twelve weeks of honest effort did not change anything, you should not have paid for it.

Give It Twelve Weeks.

Cold-pressed, single-ingredient castor oil, made in the USA, with the protocol that tells you exactly how to use it.

If your hair isn't softer, stronger, and holding its length — send the bottle back, opened, and we'll refund every cent.
